All 2020 events postponed to 2021

30/09/2020 – Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: All 2020 Business Fairs now postponed to 2021

The Coronavirus or COVID-19 outbreak has wreaked havoc this year.

When we first went into lockdown in March, we were hopeful that it might not last too long and things might get back to normal so that we could at least hold events in summer and autumn.

As many of the lockdown measures were eased over the summer, we were anticipating (in line with Government guidance) that conferences and exhibitions would be allowed to restart from October 1st. Unfortunately over the last month Coronavirus cases have risen markedly, and many parts of the region are subject to significant restrictions.

The latest government measures to control the spread of the virus mean that business events and exhibitions are not permitted and so we have now had to defer all of our 2020 events to next year.

This is obviously disappointing and frustrating but we are very much looking forward to holding in-person events as soon as we possibly can.

We are currently looking at dates for next year and aim to get those confirmed and scheduled as soon as possible. All exhibitor and visitor bookings already placed for any of our events will of course be carried forward to the rescheduled events in 2021.

In the meantime, we will also be holding more Digital Days to try and replicate some of the Networking and Business Support features of our events in an online format.

Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you all – particularly our event sponsors, exhibitors and visitors – for your support and understanding during what has been, and continues to be, a very challenging time.

Stay safe and well.

Best wishes, Liverpool BA
